Every day in the UK 910 people are diagnosed with cancer (Cancer Research, 2015) which is one every two minutes. Whilst cancer diagnosis are on the increase people are surviving longer, with survival rates doubling over the last 40 years.

However, when a cancer diagnosis is given life changes for the person and their loved one forever.  Life often becomes a cycle of hospital and doctor appointments, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, scans and numerous tests. This is where the Chemo Survivor Kit comes in to play.

Pictured above is an example of some of the kits we took to Velindre to introduce the Chemotherapy Staff to our idea.  A very special thank you to Cheryl Chadwick of Cwtchy Face bags who kindly designed and donated these bags to Chemo Survivor Kits.  I'm sure you'll agree they are beautiful decorated and really helped bring the idea to life!

Thanks Cheryl! x
