Chemo Survivor Kits is only possible by the kindness of others. Without your support work such as this simply wouldn't be possible. Over the past year we have been shown kindness and support from people throughout the UK whether it is baking for our cake bake or making hats for our kits. As more become aware of our organisation and what we hope to achieve 2017 promises to be an exciting year. We hope to register as a charity and push forward with making Chemo Survivor Kits a reality for those facing the uncertain future a cancer diagnosis gives them.
However, over time we have gathered more and more items. We have a collection of items for kits aswell as publicity material for events. As this increases the need for storage increased but with storage costing such a huge amount it was likely to prove a challenge. So I asked people for any advice.
I recieved lots of names and numbers but one name that kept coming up was 'Call Chris at Bedwas Self Storage', 'Bedwas Storage is good', 'if anyone can help Chris will'. So. . . . I called Chris of Bedwas Self Storage and explained Chemo Survivor Kits aim and what we needed. Despite all hhis units being full Chris was determined to help us and said come on down. He has allowed us to store our things in his own office with the possibility of a storage unit when one becomes available. This will provide us with access to our items 24 hours a day meaning if someone needs a kit urgently we will have access to our items.
